There is nothing as powerful as a person who knows WHY they go to work every day.
No doubt some go to work to pay their rent, make their car payment, and buy food. Those are all good pursuits, but very limited compared to the opportunities in real estate for the few who strive to double, triple, or even see a tenfold increase in their income because they know their “why” and work each day at satisfying their needs.
You may have heard the expression, “Success begets success.” This means the more success you have, the more success you will attract. When you have the “winning feeling,” endorphins and dopamine are released, giving your brain bursts of energy that can be inspiring and motivating. The winning feeling attracts more winning. As your attitude improves, you will satisfy the needs that bring you that winning feeling.
Unfortunately, many well-meaning people feel a sense of frustration with themselves simply because they do not believe they are doing as well as they should be doing. Yes, bad things will happen in your life that you cannot control, but you are responsible for how you interpret those events and react to them.
Life becomes much simpler once you realize that what happens in your life is your personal responsibility. Until you are willing to take ownership of this fact, you will remain a part of the mediocre majority who tend to flip-flop on their choices and wander through life.
The 30-Day Challenge is an overview of the success principles that have been used by the most successful people. This is the tool you need to achieve whatever you want in life. As you have successes, you will expand your potential well beyond what you can envision at this time.
Our minds are divided into two parts: the conscious and subconscious. Our conscious mind is where we process ideas, analyze our surroundings, reason, and rationalize our actions. Then, we have our subconscious, which drives our instincts, reactions, and habits.
Part of the job of the conscious mind is to filter what goes into our subconscious mind. In other words, what we focus on with our conscious mind is what gets acted upon. Thoughts come and go, but focus moves a thought to the subconscious level.
Your subconscious mind keeps all the data—your wins and losses—in all realms of your life. If you have more successes than failures stored in your subconscious, you may have a “positive personality.” If, however, there is a certain realm of your life that you have not done well in, you have some negative hurdles to overcome.
The problem is we do not focus enough on our successes. If we did, our subconscious would look for opportunities to succeed. Unfortunately, when we are thoughtless or focus on failure, our subconscious will lead us to more failure.
The key is to focus on your successes and develop a winning attitude. With the 30-Day Challenge, you will learn to celebrate your successes, embrace the winning feeling, and attract even more success. Truly, attitude is everything.
Iron will and grit determination will only take you so far, and your subconscious mind will pull you back to your Comfort Zone in a short period of time.
The 30-Day Challenge was designed to help you take advantage of breakthroughs in neuropsychology to keep you focused on the things you want to have happen in your life.
If you are comfortable where you are now, and don’t want to be more, have more, or accomplish more, then there is no need to keep reading. If, however, you are experiencing “inspirational dissatisfaction,” then you are on the right path.
Do you understand the difference between satisfying your needs and accomplishing your goals?
Most people don’t have goals, but they have needs that are easily identified and, once identified, can be achieved. Satisfying personal needs is the first step in achieving the habit of goal setting.
Most people initially have a difficult time answering the question “What is your why?” Most people don’t know, and you may have to dig deep to discover your "why" or your need to achieve.
It’s important for you to know why you go to work. A person’s basic need, or their “why,” is the strongest single motivator for putting extra effort into their success. Knowing your needs and having a plan to satisfy those needs starts with having an answer to the question: “Why do you want to do that?” Every action has a reaction. With each action, you are moving closer to your goals or further away from them.
It is important to have a long-term vision and short-term goals based upon what your needs are for each of the eight realms of your life. You need to know where you expect to be in the future and know what you need to do today, this week, this month, and for the next three to six months. This way, you will progressively achieve your short-term goals as you work toward your long-term goals, your life vision, and your ultimate success. To get started on this path, we recommend you identify your 90-day financial needs and begin satisfying those pressing needs.
Each of us has 24 hours in a day. Our level of success depends on how we spend those 24 hours. If we determine what we need to do today in order to reach our short-term needs, we will enjoy all the success we want in life by accomplishing our long-term goals.
Most people do not have the discipline to stick with the things they commit to doing. The 30-Day Challenge provides the reminders needed to develop discipline and commitment. Before you go to sleep at night and just after waking each day, you will review your crystallized wants and set actions for the following day.
Over time, although very subtle, you may begin to notice a difference as your subconscious mind begins to focus on your needs. You will unconsciously start using more of your true and almost unlimited potential, you will have a more positive attitude and perspective on life, and you will begin to reach your goals. Soon, you’ll notice small successes that will blossom into bigger and more impactful successes. Success varies from person to person, but your personal success will be equal to the amount of effort and purposeful actions you invest.
